Our Story
Born out of the love for good times and great experiences, ‘Wuts the Deal’ is the brainchild of a college kid who found joy in the unexpected. From racing goldfish on Wednesday nights at Shoreclub in San Diego to stumbling upon Reggae Tuesdaze at The Holding Company, these spontaneous encounters opened his eyes to the myriad of local experiences often hidden in plain sight.
Yet, he found it frustrating that these unforgettable moments were often left to chance. Too often, he and his friends found themselves asking, “Wut’s the deal tonight?” when trying to make plans. He realized that finding local events and happy hour deals should not be like finding a needle in a haystack, and thus, ‘Wuts the Deal’ was born.
Our goal is to empower communities by facilitating discovery, bridging the gap between local businesses and the people who are actively seeking them out. ‘Wuts the Deal’ is more than just an app – it’s a revolution in how we connect with our local scene and discover the experiences that make life truly vibrant.
